"Market Day" was painted during Charlevoix Circle of Arts 2023 Plein Air Paint Out. We were tasked with completing two paintings for the Wet Paint Sale which was held on Friday evening, so I set out to find a place to paint. Just a quick walk around the corner and BOOM it was Farmer's Market Day! I loved the morning light filtering down on the vendors and their customers with a glimpse of the Lake Charlevoix harbor as a backdrop.
